A few new pictures

Jayson loves his books. If ever it seems too quiet I usually find him sitting in front of the bookcase. He just pulls them out, flips through them and goes to the next one.
Mom likes to read books with Jayson and Amy too.

1st day of Preschool!

Amy has started preschool. It's been a big deal. She's learning so much. In this picture, Amy is sporting her new pink dress and "preschool shoes." She also wanted me to paint her fingernails and toenails for the big first day. Knowing that her dad was also starting school, she convinced him he needed his toes painted too. (The nail polish remover came out after she went to bed.)

Twin Falls Temple Dedication

We just had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Twin Falls Temple Dedication. The Twin Falls temple is the 128th temple for the church. President Monson, President Eyring, Elder Cook, and Elder Costa (of the seventy) came to dedicate the temple. We were lucky to be in the Celestial room for the 1st dedication session. Wow. Lacey's whole family was there. That was an added bonus.

Bronco's 1st Birthday!

This was my favorite birthday ever!!!!
He loved the cake. Not so much eating it, but playing with it sure was fun!

He really likes Grandma Rhonda's dump truck, too!

Jayson and Amy love Grandma Annie's puzzles!

Jayson wasn't really into opening his presents,

but Amy sure was helpful!

Jayson had a good haul and Amy was bouncing off the wall all week waiting to open his presents!

Gladys and Phil

This is Gladys. She's watching the nest while Phil is out searching for material to make the nest bigger and stronger. He built the nest sticking straight out of the brick wall right by our front door.

After weeks of building the nest, mating, and waiting, the little baby birds hatched from their eggs. Boy were they hungry! :)

Phil proudly protects his little brood while Gladys searches for food.
:)

Now Rodrigo, Penelope, Suez, and Terry are all big and grown up. They'd been practicing flying for one day when I took this picture. Apparently I got too close because as soon as I snapped it they all took off straight at me. I survived unharmed, but our dear friends haven't returned.

Lindsay's beautiful wedding

For the true experience of this post listen to "Wishing and Hoping." I didn't get too many pictures of Lindsay's wedding and reception, but I thought these turned out cute. The little girls all in yellow were so sweet. Congratulations, Lindsay.
